This is a very interesting literature to be digging into (and likely totally appropriate for your work). As an anthropologist who engages with development and evolution in my work, I've read a lot of dual-inheritance/culture-genetic evolution work on Niche Construction (particularly from people working on the Extended Synthesis). I don't know that it would map perfectly to your work (probably too abstract and looking at different topics), but I thought I'd mention it anyway!
